We are just a few days away from our co-headline show at the Weinberg Center in Frederick. As a local Frederick band, the Weinberg Center looms high, if not the very top, on the list of coveted rooms to perform. We count ourselves extremely grateful for the opportunity to perform on this amazing stage for the second time, and we want as many of our friends and family to join us. Day-of-show tickets will be available at the Weinberg Box Office all day Thursday until the show at 7:30 that night. We go on at 7:30, so come early. Can’t wait to see you, folks!

It’s happening and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Our goofy group of bozos get to grace Frederick’s best stage once again. It’s been 5+ years since we got to perform as part of the Frederick Local Music Showcase Vol. 2. That one still holds some of the heaviest weight when we think back to memorable shows because it was the WEINBERG.

SILENT OLD MTNS. LIVE & IN-PERSON 6/13!!!
After over a year, we are playing our first in-person live show June 13th at the Baker Park Bandshell!
We really cannot think of a better place and better circumstances to perform in front of people since the pandemic hit. This show will be part of Celebrate Frederick’s Summer Concert Series, and it is free, outdoors, and open to all ages. The thought of playing together for our friends and family again is wild. We loved doing the livestreams, but it’s just going to be different to look out and actually see everyone bopping along. Granted, we are fully aware that the pandemic is not over, so we ask everyone to please be mindful of social distancing with other folks, and if you haven’t gotten your vaccine, make sure to mask up. We missed you all, and cannot wait to see you again.
We’ll be playing tunes from both Gary and Velvet Raccoon, as well as a new/surprise tune here and there. We will have a limited number of vinyl for sale before and after the show, as well as CDs and t-shirts. Hopefully, we’ll see you cats in a month.

SILENT OLD MTNS. TURNS 10!
This past Sunday, March 28th, was the 10th Anniversary of the very first Silent Old Mtns. show. We took to Facebook Live Sunday afternoon, and did an Anniversary Livestream. The last time any number of us had played together in the same place was back on Labor Day. Though we were missing two of the guys, having five of us in the same room playing music together was a complete blast. CLICK HERE to watch the stream.
It is a true gift to still be making music together after all this time. Our hope is to keep doing so for as long as we can tolerate. As we continue navigating the pandemic, hopefully chances and opportunities will arise for us to safely perform for a live audience in the near future. We will absolutely let you know once we are able to do so.
So many of you have been with us since the beginning. Most of those people are our moms, but there are a few die-hard Mtns. fans out there that didn’t give birth to us.
